- Ask who handles removal, disposal, protection of nearby surfaces, and interior or exterior finish repairs.
- Access & approvals
- Clarify access equipment, permit or association responsibilities, and any related fees or work excluded from the price.
- Unexpected conditions
- Ask how concealed damage is documented, how additional costs are priced, and how you approve a change before work proceeds.
- Timing & payment
- Review the proposed sequence, material lead times, payment stages, and what could affect the schedule.
- Warranties & handover
- Separate manufacturer coverage from installation coverage. Ask for the written terms, care instructions, and a contact for questions after completion.
